Writer-director. Currently based in Oslo, Norway. MA graduate of the National Film & Television School, London.

Right now: I've recently completed my 10th short film NOTHING EVER REALLY ENDS. It has been selected for Oscar-qualifying festivals including Aspen Film Shortsfest (Jury Special Recognition), Seattle International Film Festival (Jury Special Recognition), Uppsala and Grimstad (Honorable Mention Screenplay) - with more festivals to be announced. It was also selected by The Norwegian Federation of Film Societies as one of the year's top five shorts.

I'm writing and developing a tv-series and several feature films, three of which have been suppported by the Norwegian Film Institute. This includes the project "Eternal Summer" which was selected for the Les Arcs co-production village.

I'm also writing and directing a new short which will be part of an anthology feature film by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard - the directors of the Nick Cave docu 20,000 DAYS ON EARTH.

My short films have screened at over 40 festivals. MY FRIEND KILLS TIMES (now available at Nowness) premiered at South By Southwest. The medium length film SCRATCH, set in the East-London art scene, won the main prize in Aubagne and had a series of special screenings at agnès b. in London. My graduation film, VANILLA SONG, was selected for the Cannes Film Festival, Cinéfondation. I´ve worked with leading Norwegian production companies Maipo Film and Motlys, as well as the London company Breakthru Films.

As a commercials and content director, I´ve worked for clients as diverse as Scandinavian Airlines, MTV, Nordea Bank and the Norwegian Department Of Education. The fashion-ad HUNGER was profiled in Shots and nominated for the Young Directors Award in Cannes. The commissioned short film SOMETIMES was recently nominated for the 1.4 awards.

I've attended Jeanne Moreau's screenwriting workshop in France, The Berlin Talent Campus and the Judith Weston Acting For Directors workshop in LA. I've also done courses in Film History and Media Science at Bergen and Stavanger universities. I´m a three year recipient of the Norwegian State Grant for Young Film Artists.

If you´ve actually read this far I might add that most of the time I believe in an indifferent universe and that all we can do really is to keep pushing that rock up the hill. That said; Woody Allen, Bergman and Antonioni make up my holy trinity.
